It took me about 18 months to complete issue #1, and about six weeks to complete issue #2. While issue #1 is the creation story of MDAM, issue #2 focuses much more on his friend Esi, her interest in science and technology, political activism, patriotism, and passion to protect the oceans and the livelihoods of her people.
